Ginger Cullins        Pet Portraits

Since childhood, I have had a strong connection with animals because they love us unconditionally.  After a recent turning point in my life, I am rekindling my passion for art with my love of animals by creating pet portraits.  As a fiber artist, I sketch with my sewing machine.  After drawing the design onto fabric with a disappearing pen, I then use the sewing machine to free motion stitch.  Lastly, I paint on fabric to complete the portrait.  As I work on each piece, I connect in such a way as to capture the personality and spirit of each animal.
